The 2008 Infiniti EX35 is offered in two trim levels, base and Journey, each with rear- or all-wheel drive. Every EX35 is powered by a 297-hp 3.5-liter V6. The lone transmission is a five-speed automatic with a manual shiftgate. The EX35 ($31,300) and EX35 AWD ($32,700) come standard with cloth upholstery, automatic climate control, eight-way power driver seat, four-way power passenger seat, 60/40 split second-row seat, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, automatic headlights, remote keyless entry and starting, trip computer, six-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo with auxiliary input jack, XM Satellite Radio, and P225/60R17 all-season tires on aluminum wheels.

Like its competitors, the EX is based on a car platform – In this case, the Infiniti G35 sedan. As a result, it shares the same 297 hp 3.5-liter V6 featured in the G35. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard, and buyers have the option of choosing rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. While fuel economy isn’t impressive, it is in-line with other vehicles in its class. The EX is available in two trim levels (Base & Journey). The base EX comes with 17-inch allow wheels, cloth upholstery, a power driver seat, single-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo with an auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio, a keyless ignition system, and a sunroof. The Journey gains a sunroof, leather upholstery and power-folding second-row seats. The Journey trim is also eligible for a variety of additional high-priced options including the Premium Package, which provides an upgraded Bose sound system with a CD changer and iPod integration, Bluetooth, duel-zone automatic climate control and a power front passenger seat. There is also a Luxe Elite Package that combines higher-quality leather upholstery with 18-inch wheels and adaptive bi-xenon headlights. A hard-drive-based navigation system with digital music storage capability and a rearview monitor are available, but can be enhanced with the Technology Package.
