The 2009 Jeep Patriot comes in three models, Sport, Rocky Mountain and Limited, with a choice of front-wheel drive (2WD) and two all-wheel drive (AWD) systems. All models come standard with a 172-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual transmission. A continuously variable automatic transaxle (CVT) is optional.
