2010 Acura ZDX Review Summary
For those seeking the style and performance of a luxury car, but the sense of protection and isolation that comes with an SUV, the 2010 Acura ZDX, ranked 9 by ACG, is the best option in the Luxury Midsize SUV class. Indeed, Acura has branded this totally redesigned version as a “four door sports coupe.” The 2010 ZDX is available in three trim levels: base ZDX, ZDX Technology, and ZDX advance. It comes with a more than ample 3.7-liter 300 horsepower V6 engine as well as a capable all wheel drive system. Reviewers found the handling of the ZDX to be fun and sporty, with the exception of a few complaints that the steering seemed to lag slightly. While the ZDX certainly holds its own in terms of handling and performance, the bread and butter of this midsize SUV is clearly what it offers both on the interior and exterior. Reviewers described the ZDX’s sleek lines as nothing short of stunning, and they were overwhelmed by the extravagant interior offered even on the ZDX’s base model. An all glass roof, extremely comfortable plush seating, leather trimmed cabin, power tailgate, and a backup camera, in addition to other high quality materials and upscale features, help the ZDX to convey a sense of affluence and sophistication unmatched by its direct competition. The one downside to a vehicle that doesn’t quite sport the size of an SUV is space, utility, and overall functionality. Several reviewers noted that the ZDX’s rear seats and cargo are especially cramped, and even the front seats wouldn’t be described as roomy. Additionally, the ZDX offers a miniscule 26.3 cubic feet of space with all of its seats in use, and only 55.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. These numbers are certainly surpassed by other vehicles in the Luxury Midsize SUV class. Overall, however, the positives outweigh the negatives when it comes to the 2010 ZDX. This vehicle is ideal for a young and trendy couple looking for something affordable that offers head turning looks, a sporty driving experience with a luxurious interior and, more than anything, the confidence that one would get from an SUV to drive in all weather conditions.

2010 Acura ZDX Review Handling
Nearly all reviewers felt that the ZDX offered a sporty and fun driving experience, significantly aided by a superb Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. However, there were complaints about the slightly unresponsive steering. Overall, for most, the ZDK would offer a more than satisfying ride.

2010 Acura ZDX Review Safety
The 2010 ZDX’s many standard safety components include: 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (electronic break distribution, brake assist), front dual-stage multiple-threshold airbags, front side-impact airbags with occupant position detection system, hill start assist, trailer stability assist, tire pressure monitoring system with location and pressure indicators, and vehicle stability assist with traction control.

2010 Acura ZDX Noteworthy
Despite the fact that the 2010 Acura ZDX is a brand new model, J.D. Power and Associates gave the ZDX a score of 8.0 out of 10 for Predicted Reliability. The Acura ZDX comes with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. For entertainment, the ZDX comes with a 90-day free trial subscription to XM satellite radio as well as Bluetooth HandsFreeLink phonebook exchange.
