2010 Mitsubishi Galant Review Summary
The 2010 Mitsubushi Galant, ranked 12th by ACG in the Affordable Midsize Cars class, is a dated but reliable addition to the saturated family sedan market. Uninspired design aside, the Galant offers a safe and comfortable ride. Although past models of the Galant have been hounded for limited features and anachronistic styling, Mitsubushi has added several items to its 2010 model and virtually silenced my vocal critics. Wishing to drastically improve fuel economy, Mitsubushi has dropped the V6 engine, offering a standard four cylinder engine in two trims: the ES model, which features cruise control, a six speaker stereo with CD player, and the SE model, which adds a back-up camera, heated front seats, a navigation system, and an array of electronic goodies. While the interior has remained largely unchanged since the 2004 remodeling, which critics take poignant note of, the Galant delivers for its drivers a quiet cabin and the ability to confidently maneuver any ride. A relative mainstay in the family sedan market, the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant is boring and uninterestingly designed, but a reliable car for consumers in the market for one.

2010 Mitsubishi Galant Review Handling
The 2010 Mitsubishi Galant offers surprisingly fast and responsive steering, but performance enthusiasts move on because the Galant is best as a predictable and reliable family cruiser.

2010 Mitsubishi Galant Review Safety
The Galant earned top scores of five out of five stars in federal government crash tests for both driver and passenger safety in both front-end and side impact collisions, catapulting it to one of the safest cars in its class.

2010 Mitsubishi Galant Noteworthy
Mitsubishi provides warranty coverage that is nearly unmatched in its class: a five-year/60,000-mile basic package, and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. This ensures Galant buyers that they are protected for the long haul.
